Job Description: Purchasing Assistant – May 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily purchasing needs and act on priority items.
  • Prepare and request quotes as needed.
  • Organize, maintain, and compare quotes from multiple sources.
  • Prepare purchase orders as needed.
  • ERP system data maintenance and research.
  • Review back-orders and follow up with vendors.
  • Enter and maintain contract pricing where applicable.
  • Continually look for ways to improve processes, and be able to articulate those proposed improvements.
  • Resolve delivery, goods receipt and invoicing issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain hazardous material safety data sheets and ensure compliance to established standards.

Job Description: Senior Linux OS Engineer – April 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide and maintain Linux Kernel support, including device driver implementation & modification for our existing and future products in our console and On-Board Computer ranges
  • To assist in developing a variety of ancillary embedded projects within the Production and Test Departments of the company
  • To produce documentation as required for future reference
  • To work productively with other Hanover staff in the mutual achievement of Company goals

Linux Build and Release Engineer – UK Based

 

Job Description: Linux Build and Release Engineer – April 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on several projects at any one time, with lifetimes of a few days to a few months. You will be managing the build and release of embedded software components, improving build test automation, instrumental in resolving merge conflicts and helping to standardise our build tools.
  • Working closely with other members of the R&D, IT and Project Management teams.
  • Define the branching strategy for handling milestones and production
  • To develop scripts to improve the automation of producing and testing builds, moving towards a CI build system.
  • To assist engineers in branching and merging code, resolving merge conflicts.
  • To help define a suitable set of build and debug tools for our software processes
  • Produce production release notes, adequate for both internal and external use.
  • Integrate the build system to the bug tracking system

Key responsibilities:

 

  • To operate surface mount placement machines and associated equipment to required levels of quality, output and efficiency, whilst ensuring all housekeeping requirements and safety guidelines are adhered to.
  • Machine efficiency (run time/change over times) and accuracy are key to the requirements of this role.

Mechanical Engineer – UK Based

Job Description: Mechanical Engineer – April 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical design of passenger information products such as LED display signs, driver’s consoles, TFT screens,
    primarily for housings, brackets and cable assemblies
  • You will be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and talent for design. You will be proficient in using CAD tools
    and be able to create new, or edit existing CAD drawings. You will be methodical and organised and able to deal with
    multiple projects at any one time. Projects can last anywhere between a few days to several months.
  • Attendance at project meetings and liaison with other departments is essential. Visits to customers and suppliers
    may be required both in the UK and abroad, as well as visits to test houses
  • To provide 3D models of new product to assist in tendering\quoting process’s
  • The design and development of cable assemblies and system wiring diagrams
  • Visit to customer sites in both the UK and worldwide

Job Description: Electrical Engineer – April 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within Hanover’s Engineering Department. This is a varied role in establishing. Maintaining and improving the
    company’s system wiring diagrams and associated cable assemblies.
  • Working on several projects at any one time, with lifetimes of a few days to weeks. Directed by the Engineering Manager.
  • Role requires an individual with a proactive approach who can work across teams and deliver work in agreed timescales.

Job Description: Regional Sales Manager US Based – April 2019

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & update the sales forecast documentation for the North American market.
  • In conjunction with the Service department, maintain full inventory of customer-based parts.
  • Manage & update Travel & Entertainment budgets of sales department members.
  • Respond to sales calls from customers and assist the service department as required in each designated territory.
  • Work with service to determine priority for any service(s) to be rendered.

Job Description: Technical Support Engineer – Jan 19


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide first line phone support both in-house and out of the office on all Hanover products.
  • To carry out site evaluations and suggest improvements to best resolve customer issues
  • To carry out installations or retrofits of Hanover equipment at customer sites globally where required
  • To create databases and media content for customers and agents for Hanover on board equipment
  • To work with third party companies where required to ensure integration between on board systems
  • To supply technical tuition to both customers and Hanover staff
  • To produce documentation as required for future reference
  • To work productively with other Hanover staff in the mutual achievement of Company goals
  • Working closely with Hanover customers to ensure all customer requirements are met and in a timely manner
